Jess Wojcik
Jess (she/her) discovered peer support in 2014. Peer support has been transformational in making meaning of her own life experiences and finding a fulfilling professional path after running into barriers in many school and workplace settings. Jess was previously the program manager of Idaho’s state-funded peer support training, during which she became a training facilitator and supported peer communities and organizations navigating peer support integration. In 2017, Jess created a peer support training entity where she developed curriculum, coordinated and co-facilitated training, implemented a statewide peer learning collaborative, and contributed to the development of Idaho’s youth peer support training. Jess resonates deeply with intentional peer support as a framework for relationships that are built on mutuality, co-creation, and awareness of power. She loves mountain biking, bikepacking, contact improv, ecstatic dance, and spending time under the sun and stars.
